Who am I?
I'm a Market Research Manager in iTunes at Apple. Before that, I co-founded a teddy bear company called FanZanimal. Before that I went to Harvard Business School. Before that I worked for Bain & Company. Before that I went to Brown University and played lacrosse. Before that I went to Milton Academy. Before that I went to Meadowbrook. Before that I had nothing to do but root for the Red Sox.

lonelysandwich:

Dan Wineman is something of a hero of mine.

I don’t really know who he is, but I know he does something smart with computers in a city called Slug Crossing, which is not real according to wikipedia and I’ve just been played.

He was invaluable with technical assistance on Birdhouse, the iPhone app for Twitter that Cameron and I launched Monday, he’s been beta testing for months, proving the concept with the best creative use of the form, and though we’ve never drunk together, I can already tell he’s just about the nicest guy I’ll ever eventually drink with.

And here, in this toot? In that tiny little box? He makes art while making sense of art.

I love that quote, and I highly recommend Adam Lisagor’s blog to anyone that enjoys this one. I bet everyone’s had someone give them the unfunny “too much time” line at some point, and I’d never realized before reading this that it is usually in response to innovation.
