The productivity author, Merlin Mann, posted a pic of his daughter’s first experience walking, and wrote an endearing caption:
We’d had 2-3 tentative steps at a time starting as far back as a couple weeks ago. Then mostly nervousness, the usual fast crawling, and lots of hanging on to one of Daddy’s fingers for cruising through the house.
Then on Sunday, while we were in Vegas — and on the day before her 1st birthday — Eleanor suddenly started tearing ass all over the place with no help at all. And she’s really good at it. Maybe too good.
I know (because numerous friends tell me so) that this kid thing gets continually better over the next few months, but, man: I wish I could put a morning like this one in a jar and enjoy it ten seconds at a time for the rest of my life.
Love that kid.
