Who am I?
I'm a Market Research Manager in iTunes at Apple. Before that, I co-founded a teddy bear company called FanZanimal. Before that I went to Harvard Business School. Before that I worked for Bain & Company. Before that I went to Brown University and played lacrosse. Before that I went to Milton Academy. Before that I went to Meadowbrook. Before that I had nothing to do but root for the Red Sox.

In addition to a full day of cleaning, we said a lot of goodbyes yesterday.
In the morning, we swung by our favorite Starbucks, where we know every barista by name, and the manager, Caroline, is like Coach from Cheers to us (maybe that means we’re Fraser and Lilth, because they’re the only couple that regularly went to the bar together). Anyway, after spending countless hours with those guys (including breaking up a fight between unruly customers), it was rough to tell them we’d be drinking lattes elsewhere. Caroline got us special mugs with our usual orders written on the side, and we posed for a picture together.
We also bid adieu to Claudia, who helped us keep our apartment/lives tidy for the last 3 years. Considering how little she charged (and how poorly the market performed), working with Claudia may be the best investment I made in ‘06-‘09. She also dealt very well with Furio’s massive crush on her, and constant “flirting”.
Finally, last night we got together with a few close friends at our favorite neighborhood watering hole, The Cellar. It was cramped and informal, and people wandered in and out, which is exactly like every good night at the Cellar.
It’s crazy how we tend to wait until we’re moving or dying to tell people how much they’ve meant to us, but it felt great to let all of these special people know they’re important to us. The nice thing about this particular move, is that we really mean it when we say we’ll be back all the time to visit. With friends like these, you couldn’t keep us away from this town if you tried.
