Being 19 vs. being 29
When I was 19, I knew the exact pattern of the spots where the video game, GoldenEye, would bring you back to life if your character was killed, and which spots were best.
At 29, I (just about) know the pattern of the rotation of the baristas at my neighborhood Starbucks, and which ones make the best lattés.

LinkedIn is a little like a college cafeteria in that, people love to complain about how worthless it is.
It’s neat to see someone defend it.
I don’t get much use out of it, but for how easy it is to maintain, I think it’s a phenomenal service.

NFL overtime
Heard an interesting theory from Adam Carolla on NFL overtime…
The college system is obviously better, but assuming that we can’t do the smart thing and change to that system, why not this: If a team scores a touchdown, they win, but if a team only kicks a field goal, the other team get to receive a kickoff and take a crack at scoring.
